All our products are hand cut by our skilled craftsmen using either diamond-impregnated wheels or by the traditional two stage roughing and smoothing process. Here the initial cut is done on a carborundum wheel and then the cut is smoothed on natural sandstone wheels, a process which takes far longer than a diamond wheel but gives a far superior finish, particularly on flat flute cuts as found on our Helvellyn range.

Our cutters achieve a precision, sharpness and quality that cannot be achieved by machine and is vastly superior to patterns on moulded products.
