OPENING TIMES: Monday to Friday 9.00am to 4.30pm.

As the factory stops work at 4.30pm it is advisable to arrive earlier to ensure you can view at your leisure. Friday afternoons are cleaning up times and glass-making generally stops about 3pm. Lunch break is from 12.30 to 1.00pm.

Cumbria is the last producer of hand-made full lead crystal in England.

We are extremely proud of the skills of our craftsmen and welcome visitors all year round to experience traditional glass-making.

As well as 2 furnaces and 2 glassmaking teams at the hot end of the factory, visitors can also view glass cutting and processing.
